Holiday Meal Tips from your Uptown Dallas Apartments

  |     |   Uncategorized

The newest community of apartments in West Village Dallas is back with another brand new post for our residents, and we’re thrilled to see that you’re back to read our latest blog! In the post below, we’ll be talking about some delicious holiday season recipes that you can make in the next couple days. Whether you need an appetizer or a main course, we think you’ll find what you need on the blog post below.

Let’s get right to the list, shall we? When you’re done reading through it, please feel free to share the link to this page with your friends. Better yet, go ahead and share it with your neighbors at your community of Uptown Dallas apartments!

Pears with Blue Cheese and Prosciutto

Before you get started, make sure you’ve stocked up on these ingredients:

  • Pears

  • Lemon Juice

  • Arugula

  • Blue Cheese

  • Prosciutto

For a beautiful appetizer that tastes as good as it looks, whip up some of the blue cheese and prosciutto pears. It’s not easy to wrap prosciutto around a pear, but you’ll be rewarded with plenty of flavor if you can pull it off.

Bacon-Wrapped Pork Loins with Cherries

Before you get started, make sure you’ve stocked up on these ingredients:

  • Boneless Pork Loin

  • Allspice

  • Black Pepper

  • Dried Cherries

  • Parsley

  • Mustard

  • Bacon

  • Currant Jelly

  • White Wine Vinegar

Has anyone ever disliked a meal that’s wrapped in bacon? We don’t think so. Give this recipe a shot if you want to really impress the in-laws this year.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pecans

Before you get started, make sure you’ve stocked up on these ingredients:

  • Brussels Sprouts

  • Pecans

  • Olive Oil

  • Garlic

  • Salt & Pepper

We saved our easiest recipe for last. Seriously, you won’t find a simpler holiday side dish than this one. If you realize at the last minute that you need a side dish for the holiday potluck you’re about to attend, this dish is your best bet. Grab the five ingredients above — three of which you probably have in your kitchen already — and throw everything in a baking pan. The crunch of the pecans paired with the flavorful brussels sprouts makes for an amazing dish.

With that, we’ve reached the end of our list of the best holiday recipes of 2018. We’ll be back in a couple weeks with another brand new blog post for our residents, but for now, we’d like to thank you for taking some time out of your busy day to read this one!
